Prise Up - Impactful business support
PRISE’s start-up catalyser (Prise Up) is a component of the World Bank’s PRISE programme. Kicked off in the Maghreb region, the programme provides compact and intense support and training for a cohort of early stage start-ups with their journey towards becoming market-ready investable ventures.
The first programme covers impactful ventures from Tunisia, Morocco and Algeria eager to grow and scale their business.

PROGRAMME ACTIVITIES
Kicking off
The day has arrived. Bringing the implementation partners, country teams, Prise Up entrepreneurs and World Bank lead together, building the group and setting and aligning expectations for a great and learning time together.
Bootcamp
10+ packed days of workshops and sessions based on the needs shared by the participants. A team of experienced entrepreneurship and growth facilitators paired with external experts and investors delivers the engaging content.
Investor input and advise
A network of international investors and investment experts provides speedy, practical advise and input on what to focus on when identifying, presenting and engaging with investors. The aim is to provide raw, tangible expertise.
Mentorship and sageship
Local mentors and sages supported by country teams provides mentorship and very practical advice on industry or functional topics based on the articulated needs of the entrepreneurs and their businesses.
Pitch and investor day
Pitching to 20+ local, regional and international investors using the input and feedback from the previous to communicate the businesses and their impact. Pitches followed by time to engage with investors.
Post-programme support
Continued engagement and support of the Prise Up entrepreneurs who are not alumni in an emerging community and network of Prise Up ventures and team members working with and support fellow entrepreneurs.
